About Charlie’s Dad

Lit de Justice has earned over $1.3 million, won the 1996 breeders’ cup sprint, has sired 37 black type winners, was one of the fastest horses of recent years… He won at distances up to a mile and a sixteenth but he was dominant at 7 furlongs and under, he has close bloodlines to Man o’ War.
Lit de Justice is gray, oddly Charlie only takes a snip of gray from his dads side on his right pastern,
His mom Macroe Lady is brown.

Wow, Charlie did GREAT today!

He did exactly what I asked him to do! He’s getting better! But he did try to steal the carrots from the goats. Not hard with fainting goats, just stomp your feet and walk off with the carrots.

Thanks for Stopping By!

Welcome
(A word from Robby)
BentFork is our small family farm project. Current residents include Chickens, Goats, our family dog, Charlie a thoroughbred ex-race horse and of course us, myself and my sister Sam.

Growing up homeschool has been fun and boring. But it has given us opportunities to do things that we might otherwise never get a chance to do. I get to run a chicken egg business and learn the hardway that getting paid $20 doesn’t mean you made $20. After buying chicken feed profits can get kind of small.

Our goats are new. I call them organic weed eaters. They are fainting goats, Pongo and Perdie. They are great fun but we try not to scare them too often.

Of course there is Charlie. He’s my sisters. He is an ex-race horse with the name “Testing the Limit” and first place winner at Colonial Downs. He retired and has had a little trouble finding a home. It’s amazing how far he’s come since arriving.
